Doris Jean Fairfield Rodenbeck,80, Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Rodenbeck; her children: Jan Kennicutt, Daniel Rodenbeck; her sisters: Margie Jetter and Sherry Fairfield; her brother: Gilbert Fairfield; her grandchildren: Matthew Kennicutt, Jeremy Kennicutt, Joshua Rodenbeck, Jessica Rodenbeck; her great grandchildren: James and Gabriella.

Doris was employed by Methodist Hospital for twenty years. She was an accomplished pianist who taught private lessons for several years. She was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to helping the deaf.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Millie Fairfield, and son, Steven Rodenbeck.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Harry W. Moore Funeral Home, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24, at 11:00 a.m.
